A global pandemic and two hurricanes in weeks. That's enough disaster to daunt even the staunchest college officials. But leadership team staff at SOWELA Technical Community College met challenges, building on a retention rate of 75.06% from spring fall 2020, achieve an 83.71% 2020 2021, highest any community Louisiana.
